About Us

Ryan Graham

Ryan worked in the group benefits industry for 13 years prior to founding Essential Benefits in 2018. He got his start in the industry working in the claims call center of a BC-based insurer, and from there worked his way up to lead a team of Client Relationship Specialists in BC and Alberta at another insurer, where he then held the position of Group Marketing Manager.

Ryan holds the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation, as well as a Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) degree, majoring in Human Resources, from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

Ryan founded Essential Benefits in order to bring together his passions of employee engagement with employee benefits and wellness programs, and to help clients get the most out of these programs to drive better employee engagement, recruitment, and retention.

In his spare time Ryan loves to play video games with his son, spend time with his family, and cook for his family.
